Syria crisis

Workers unload two containers containing relief kits, blankets, infant kits, health kits and school kits for two MCC partners - Popular Aid for Relief and Development (PARD), and Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA). All items went to Syrian refugees currently living in Sidon, Lebanon and the surrounding areas. Refugees live within the community in rented apartments, abandoned buildings, unfinished buildings under construction, and with host families. (MCC Photo/Sarah Adams)

More than 6 million people displaced. An estimated 100,000 people killed.

"Children are the ones who are suffering the most through the Syrian Crisis."
-- Bishop Jean Kawak, Syrian Orthodox Church

 Here's what you can do.

MCC's work with Syrian partner organizations is built on decades of relationships, beginning in the 1980s. Through those partners, MCC is responding to the basic human needs of Syrians by distributing food, blankets and kits, and supporting peacebuilding and education in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon.
