A two-week cross-cultural program, designed to train, equip and encourage 10 international and 10 local young adults to be peace promoters in their home communities. Together they learn about breaking down barriers and creatively talking across boundaries to work toward a more peaceful world.

We are excited to launch Planting Peace 2015!

From May 9-22, participants will gain practical peace training from skilled peace builders. They will share strategies from around the world and gain resources from guest presenters. During this time, participants will be also be exposed to peace issues and initiatives in Alberta through local field trips to Northern and Southern Alberta, including downtown Calgary.

Location: Based in Calgary, AB with field trips across Alberta. 

Canadian Participant Cost: $350 Covers accommodation, food and transportation throughout the program. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from our office on May 9th and May 22nd.
