Ten Thousand Villages

Ten Thousand Villages provides vital, fair income to people in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East by selling their handicrafts and telling their stories.  Ten Thousand Villages works with artisans who would otherwise be unemployed  or underemployed.  This income helps pay for food, education, health care and housing.

A non-profit program of Mennonite Central Committee, Ten Thousand Villages buys products from over 100 artisan groups in more than 35 countries.  Through a network of stores and Festival Sales across Canada, its work helps improve the lives of tens of thousands of people each and every day.
