This workshop is for non-Indigenous participants to gain a deeper understanding of the history and current reality of colonization. Beginning with the Kairos Blanket Exercise, we will focus on understanding trauma. Trauma impacts us physiologically, culturally and inter-generationally. The hope is to reflect through the lens of trauma on just and non-oppressive ways of compassionately working toward reconciliation with our Indigenous neighbours.
