Who is a delegate?

Each congregation is asked to appoint delegates to attend our AGM in order to vote and report back to their congregation. Congregations may appoint two delegates for each 200 members or portion of 200 members. In addition, the MCCO Congregational Representative is automatically a voting delegate, as are MCCO Board members.

For example:

  • 0-200 members = 2 delegates + one MCCO Congregational Representative
  • 200-400 members = 4 delegates + one MCCO Congregational Representative
  • 400-600 = 6 delegates + one MCCO Congregational Representative and so on...

Churches are also welcome to send as many interested people as they would like to attend, but they won’t have voting privileges! We encourage a young adult delegate to be included from your congregation.
