MCC is celebrating 100 years of relief, development and peace work in the name of Christ. On March 30, 2020, come out and enjoy a variety of soups and pies available for purchase by donation at the Rosemary Soup & Pie fundraiser to celebrate this milestone. Proceeds from the fundraiser supports MCC’s work with displaced people around the world.

Rob will be speaking on MCC's beginnings in the Ukraine in 1920 and his recent visit to the Ukraine for MCC's centennial.
Orlando will be speaking on his experience as a former refugee from El Salvador.
About the Speakers and Topic
Rob Enns is the acting Executive Director for MCC Alberta. Rob will be speaking about his recent visit to the Ukraine and MCC's beginnings there in 1920.
Orlando Vasquez is the Associate & Program Director for MCC Alberta.
Orlando has been working with MCC since 2003, starting as a Refugee Coordinator. He has an educational background with a Degree in Agriculture and Biological Science, a Diploma in Medical Laboratory, and a Diploma in Anabaptist Theology. Orlando has traveled extensively with MCC. He has engaged with MCC's work in México, USA, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Kenya.
