Francisca Ibanda, or Mama Cisca, is a well-known leader of the Mennonite Brethren Church in DR Congo. She has served on the Mennonite World Conference (MWC) Executive Committee and more recently has worked as the MWC Regional Representative for Central/West Africa.

At the invitation of MWC and MCC Manitoba, Mama Cisca will be visiting with churches and church leaders while sharing stories of God's work in the church and her own experience of following Jesus Christ.

Mama Cisca has travelled with various North American groups on different trips to Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Ghana. She has served as a liason for MCC in Angola and Burnidi, as well as eastern DR Congo.

Because of her vast experience, Mama Cisca is able to provide a broad overview of the political, religious, economic and social landscape of the DR Congo, focusing on topics of reconciliation, forgiveness and empowerment of women.
