Help MCC warm hearts around the world by collecting 6,500 comforters for distribution to people displaced by disaster or conflict.

COMFORTER TYING for MCC's international relief efforts when disaster or conflict displace people from their homes and community. Read how relief kits and comforters get to where they're most needed.

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY - Whether you're a seasoned sewer or new to the world of comforter making, there will be an opportunity for people of all ages and skill levels to get involved.

Comforter knotting involves tying together the three layers of a comforter – the flannel backing, the quilt batting and the fabric top - with crochet cotton. Comforters are often made from pieces of scrap or recycled fabric sewn together in a colourful checkered pattern. No sewing experience or sewing machines are required for comforter tying.
