How will this help?

Funds raised at this year’s tournament will once again help vulnerable youth and young adults in Winnipeg through MCC’s Youth Engagement & Skills Development Program at Sam's Place - a café and used bookstore in Elmwood, where youth and young adults are overcoming barriers to employment through MCC.

Since its establishment in 2011, Sam’s Place has seen growth in volunteer numbers, now offering opportunities to approximately 150 youth and young adults per year.

Your participation as a golfer will help vulnerable youth—like newcomers, youth from low-income backgrounds, and youth with disabilities—by giving them work experience and providing mentorship so they can develop the skills and confidence to succeed in a workplace.

Your participation will increase the capacity of Sam's Place to provide quality training to this increasing volunteer base—providing more opportunities for young people, like Lee, to find meaningful, sustainable employment.

Early-bird registration deadline is June 12.
