MCC Manitoba's Indigenous Neighbours program invites you on a one-day learning tour of local Indigenous-led initiatives, ministries and organizations primarily in the North End of Winnipeg.
On February 27, you can join program coordinator Kerry Saner-Harvey for a day of conversation with Indigenous elders and friends.
Who should come?
Anyone is welcome, regardless of experience or background! Especially pastors, church leaders, church elders, or anyone interested in engaging and expanding their awareness of Indigenous peoples and local initiatives.
When is the tour?
Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 8:30 am – 7:00 pm.
Where does it start?
The tour begins at Sam’s Place Café (159 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg). Transportation and two meals will be included, one of which will be catered by Indigenous-owned restaurant Feast Café and Bistro.
How much does it cost?
For a full day of activities, food, and fuel the registration cost is $20. The registration fee is due the morning of the tour on February 27 (registration limited to 12 people).
