Please note that participation in this learning tour requires a significant amount of hiking and walking.
Some might find themselves hesitant to visit this land as news of suffering comes out of the region regularly, but we hear from MCC in Israel and Palestine that “it is important, now more than ever, for visitors, especially young people, to make a trip to Palestine and Israel to learn the roots of the conflict”.
MCC has worked with partners in Palestine for more than 60 years and with partners in Israel for more than 40 years. MCC opposes violence against all people who live in the region and is committed to walking with Palestinian and Israeli partners as they continue to work for justice, peace and reconciliation for all.
*Note that preference will be given to applicants ages 18-26. Older participants are welcome to apply.
Yella is a partnership between MCC and Mennonite Church Eastern Canada.
