The Chilliwack MCC Thrift Shop is actively engaged in receiving and selling used clothing, furniture, small appliances, housewares, books, toys, jewellery and collectibles with all proceeds designated to support the relief, development, social justice and peace work of Mennonite Central Committee. The Assistant Manager reports to the Manager and will be responsible in a hands-on manner to assist with the daily operation of the Shipping and Receiving as well as Back of House operation, relating to Furniture/Hardware. This role involves driving a Cube Truck to do customer pick-ups and deliveries. This position requires living out your faith by serving others and advancing the mission of MCC as one relates to volunteers, customers, staff and donors. 

This position reports to the Shop Manager and is available on a full time salaried arrangement working on a rotating schedule, including Saturdays.
