The MCCS Thrift Shop movement was launched over 40 years ago. Thrift Shops strive to be a welcoming and caring place within the community, showing value and respect to all individuals. Practicing and promoting faithful stewardship and care for God’s creation and raising funds for MCC are also important components of the mission statement of the Thrift Shops.
The Assistant Manager is accountable to the Shop Manager, working together with the Shop Manager, volunteers and board in the overall operation of the Thrift Shop. Elements of this position include shop operations & administration, volunteer management and developing social media marketing and sales.
This is a salaried full-time position (40 hrs/wk), with health and dental benefits available. Daily work hours will be determined in consultation with, and by the Shop Manager.
