The Vancouver MCC Thrift Shop is actively engaged in receiving and selling used clothing, furniture, small appliances, housewares, books, toys, jewellery and collectibles with all proceeds designated to support the relief, development, social justice and peace work of Mennonite Central Committee.  The Assistant Manager, reports to the Manager and will be responsible to oversee the furniture area, assist with the daily operation of the thrift shop and cover for the Manager when absent.  This position requires living out your faith by serving others and advancing the mission of MCC as one relates to volunteers, customers, staff and donors. 

This is a full-time (40 hrs / week) maternity leave (1 year) position that will report to the Shop Manager.  It will require full availability Monday – Saturday.  Only those candidates who are legally eligible to work in Canada should apply.
