This is a part time hourly role sponsored by Canada Summer Jobs, 18 hours weekly for 15 weeks. The role will be mainly virtual however some in person meetings and events may be involved so the candidate must be available to work in the Kitchener Waterloo area.
MCC Ontario programs engage more then 1500 volunteers each year in the work of supporting vulnerable people. The Circle of Friends is a social inclusion program that brings a group of volunteers around a person who is transitioning out of homelessness for a year of connection and friendship. This position will support the Circle team in the development and implementation of a new participant data base as well as program activity and volunteer tracking systems.
Program evaluation and reporting is essential for internal and external accountability. The administrative assistant will support staff in developing and implementing tools to capture their work and impact. In addition to supporting the data needs of staff the administrative assistant will also assist participants in setting up and learning to use technology in order to stay connected to the program.
