This 14 week internship will focus on environmental stewardship and sustainable livelihoods at MCC Alberta. The intern will primarily be responsible for conducting an assessment of MCC Alberta’s environmental impact and creating a publicly accessible garden.
This internship is a part of a comprehensive summer internship program designed to give students firsthand experience within a global non-profit in areas related to relief, development, and peace. The intern will be a part of cohort of summer interns who will meet regularly through out the summer to share experiences, learn from each other, and receive ongoing training. The summer will begin with Planting Peace Gathering, a peace conference at Camp Valaqua, followed by the 14 week internship. There may be the option of joining an international learning tour at the conclusion of the internship at the interns own expense.
