This full-time, contract position will ensure operations at MCC Care & Share Thrift Shop are in accordance with the policies and guidelines established by Mennonite Central Committee Ontario (MCCO), works with the Care & Share Operations Council, the staff, and volunteers to promote faithful stewardship and raise funds for MCC. This Contract ends on June 30, 2022
The General Manager will ensure the shop is in harmony with the vision and goals of MCC and will maintain a high level of integrity, reflecting Christian respect for those we serve, including the volunteers, donors, customers and the larger Whitchurch-Stouffville community.
This role will be accountable for Shop's annual sales, revenue, expenses and net income providing oversight and support for approximately 6 staff and a roster of 150 volunteers, cultivating and maintaining a team approach. The General Manager will demonstrate servant leadership to staff, volunteers, customers and donors in a manner that reflects Christian respect and integrity. The General Manager relates to the Care & Share Operations Council.
