This term position provides administrative and logistical support to the Human Resources Manager. Responsibilities include: developing staff and volunteer appreciation initiatives, assisting with the interview and referencing process, file maintenance, assisting with policy and workplace safety projects, producing a workplace diversity audit, creating job descriptions and other research and administrative tasks.
This position is a part-time (0.8 FTE or 30 hours/week) opening and is accountable to the Human Resources Manager. Only candidates eligible to work in Canada at the point of hire should apply.
This is a Canada Summer Jobs funded position, and as such is a term position ending August 14, 2021. To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
