This position will be responsible to develop a strategy for MCC’s Communications and Social Enterprise team to increase responsive engagement with a new and younger generation. This will include reviewing existing MCC initiatives, researching competition, developing customer and supporter personas using a variety of tools (online research, white papers, focus groups, etc) and ultimately presenting a plan that can be executed to increase MCC’s engagement with youth and young adults.
This position is accountable to the MCCO Communications and Events Senior Manager and requires a high level of collaboration with the Social Enterprise Team.
This is a 12 week contract, 35 hours weekly sponsored by Canada Summer Jobs.
To be eligible, youth must:
*be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment*;
* be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment**; and,
*have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
