The Manager is responsible to ensure that the MCC Thrift Shop is operated in accordance with the policies and guidelines established by the Board and MCC Manitoba. The Manager will work with staff and volunteers to promote faithful stewardship to support the work of MCC through raising funds and engagement with the local community consist with the MCC Thrift Shop network. Strong interpersonal skills will contribute to dealing with the public, customers, new volunteers and other local organizations.
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) responds to basic human needs and working for peace and justice locally and around the world. The Manager will work in a way that is consistent with the values and mission of MCC and the MCC Thrift Shop Network.
The Manager reports directly to the Board and works in partnership with the Manitoba MCC Thrift Shop Coordinator.
This is a salaried full-time position with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
