The Participant Advisory Group (PAG) of the Waterloo Region Housing Stability System includes people who have experienced homelessness at some point in their lives and who have accessed supports available in the Waterloo Region housing stability system. PAG members are experts about the experience of homelessness. They give opinions and share experiences that guide the on-going work of the housing stability system. The PAG Coordinator provides support to the Participant Advisory Group (PAG) of the Waterloo Region Housing Stability System, working with the PAG Chair and members to achieve the goals of the PAG as determined by the members.
The PAG Coordinator is a part-time position (22.5 hours per week), works with a PAG Administrative Support staff (3.75 hours per week) and works closely with the PAG Chair to develop agendas, facilitate meetings and make presentations in the community.
The PAG Coordinator will also serve as MCCO’s representative to the Interfaith Social Assistance Reform Coalition (ISARC) and will look for opportunities for the PAG to participate in ISARC provincial policy advocacy initiatives related to the goals of the PAG.
The PAG Coordinator reports to the MCCO Poverty Program Coordinator.
