This salaried part-time position (paid at 18.75 hours per week) is responsible for the successful leadership and management of a Raw Carrot Soup Enterprise extension site (franchise) as a ministry/outreach of Mennonite Central Committee Ontario.
This position works a variable schedule based on seasonal soup sales. Generally the schedule will be between 3 to 4 days a week with July and August dropping to 1 to 2 days a week. Candidates MUST be available to work Saturday or Sunday during soup season.
The Raw Carrot Extension Site Manager will be individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals on the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) through running an innovative social franchise.
The Raw Carrot Extension Site Manager oversees the Raw Carrot kitchen and corresponding business activities from the church where The Raw Carrot is cooking. Various aspects of sales, marketing, speaking and awareness raising are also required, which take place in outside locations (vendor/craft shows, soup sampling, events, etc…)
