MCC is the relief, development and peace agency of the Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches in North America. MCCS staff reflect MCC’s mission, beliefs and values in the workplace and in interactions with individuals, agencies and businesses in the broader community.
This role requires 8 weeks of 1.0 FTE (37.5 hours/week) between July 1st and September 1st, 2023.
Funding for this position is provided by Service Canada with emphasis on providing youth summer work experiences which can represent important pathways facilitating future transitions to the workforce. As such, this is a term position ending September 1, 2023. To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
