This position plans for and facilitates a one-day festival begins in the morning with a ceremony and stories from Landless Bands followed by local musical entertainment in the afternoon and early evening. There are food vendors, silent auction opportunities and open areas for fellowship and visiting with one another.
This position is half time (20 hours/week) and is accountable to the MCCS Indigenous Neighbours Coordinator. Leading up to the Folk Fest, heavier hours of work can be expected with attendance at the Folk Fest (August 10, 2019) being mandatory.
