MCC Saskatchewan Thrift Shops seek to be a friendly, caring presence in their community, showing value and respect to all. Practicing and promoting faithful stewardship, care for God’s creation and raising funds for MCC are key components of the Thrift Shops.
This position is responsible for a variety of projects related to marketing, communications, future selling, and promotion opportunities for the Thrift network in Saskatchewan. Developing templates for planning, fostering awareness of MCC, and being an advocate for the work of the Thrift Shops are vital to this role.
This position is part time, working 10 - 20 hours/week. As this is a Canada Summer Jobs funded position, as such it is a term position ending December 17, 2021. To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
