1. Thrift Shop Floor Person:
- Assist customers on the sales floor and at the display counters
- Stock shelves and racks in the shop with priced items
- Empty out the change rooms
- Create displays
2. Thrift Shop Cashier:
- Greet shoppers
- Carry out cash register, credit card, and debit machine procedures
- Pack purchases and thank customers
- Handle complaints with care
- Answer phone as required
3. Thrift Shop Sorter and Pricer:
- Sort donations
- In consultation with managers, make decisions on what items are saleable, for recycling or garbage
- Using established pricing guidelines, price items for floor display
4. Thrift Shop Furniture and Hardware Volunteer:
- Sort donations
- In consultation with managers, make decisions on what items are saleable, for recycling or garbage
- Clean, restore and price hardware items and furniture
5. Thrift Shop Appliances and Electronics Volunteer:
- Test appliances and electronics
- In consultation with managers, make decisions on what items are saleable, for recycling or garbage
- Repair appliances and electronics to be sold
