Collection description

The MCC archival collection consists mainly of organizational, program and administrative records and staff correspondence. Some private collections and records of affiliate organizations are also part of the archives.

Records include documents, photos and film, some digital and some only in hard copy.

Archival description of MCC’s holdings is in progress. As search tools and records descriptions are completed, they will be made available online.

If you would like to visit the archives in person, please contact us first, so we can identify where the records you’re interested in are located.

Please note that some records in the MCC archival holdings may be subject to access restrictions, and research fees may apply.

Research involving people (interviews, surveys, etc.)

Do you have a research project that involves interviewing, surveying or studying MCC staff? Would you like MCC staff to facilitate communication with MCC partner organizations or beneficiaries of MCC-supported projects for research purposes

Write a two-paragraph or so description of your research project and describe how it meets ethical standards for research involving human subjects. Email this to researchreview@mcc.org. Our committee will review and get back to you about what further information MCC needs in order to approve your proposed research.
