The CASA (Community Awareness through Service and Action) program provides local learning and serving opportunities that give a first-hand look at poverty and homelessness in Calgary. We partner with several local agencies who offer presentations, visits, and service opportunities such as cleaning, preparing/serving meals, and sorting clothes.
CASA is offered for youth and young adult groups throughout the year upon request and depending on availability. MCC coordinates schedules with local agencies (usually 1-5 days) and provides reflection and debriefing time. Each CASA program is created around the needs of the group.
$25/person/day (for both participants and leaders)
