Planting Peace is a 2 week cross-cultural program designed to equip and encourage Canadian and international young adults to promote peace in their home communities.
Planting Peace participants have the opportunity to:

  • Learn from the stories of participants from around the world
  • Strengthen leadership skills to promote peace in home communities
  • Engage in field trips across Alberta to explore issues of justice and peace 
  • Gain new friendships!
  • Participate in a cross-cultural, inter-faith experience right here in Canada.

Planting Peace is scheduled for May 6 - 19, 2017. The deadline for international participants has passed. 

Registration is now open for Canadian residents! Apply online or download the form.

LOCATION

Based in Calgary with trips to Northern and Southern Alberta. Lodging at Camp Valaqua, and FCJ Center in Calgary 

CANADIAN PARTICIPANT COST

$400 (accommodation, food & transportation throughout the program) Please contact us if the cost is an issue.
