What is RAFT?

Since 1998, RAFT provides restorative justice services in Calgary to youth who have committed offenses, their victims, and the wider community that has been affected by the offense.

RAFT works in collaboration with MCC Alberta, The City of Calgary -  Calgary Neighbourhoods, and Carya (formerly Calgary Family Services) 


Programs

Community Conferencing

Pre-sentence facilitated conversation between the victim, offender, and other support and relevant community members.

Victim - Offender Dialogue

Post-sentence facilitated conversation between the victim, offender, and other support and relevant community members.

Crime Impact Session

Post-sentence conversation with an offender about his/her crime and its impact on the victim and community.
