Thank you for considering a legacy gift to MCC!
There are several ways to establish your legacy through MCC by planning a gift in your will. You can arrange gifts of cash, life insurance, securities or property.
Leaving a gift will require a few other things to consider, such as:
- Type of gift and amount: Connect with your legal or financial advisor to help you explore gift options. If you do not have an advisor, MCC recommends Abundance Canada (formerly Mennonite Foundation of Canada). Or, contact your MCC office to discuss your options.
- General or specific designation: Is there a need or impact you would like your legacy gift to address? Or would you prefer MCC use your gift in a more general way to support our work where it is needed most? We can help to ensure your values are met.
- Update or create your will: When describing your gift, you'll need legal information to clearly identify MCC, such as the charitable registration number, legal address and legal contact.
- Share your story: We'd love to hear why you or your loved ones have blessed MCC with a legacy gift!
There are other giving options in our legacy giving package, such as life income gifts. These gifts allow you to give assets to MCC while still providing income for yourself and others during your lifetime.
