When you host a fundraiser in support of MCC, you join a global community of passionate people relentlessly pursuing relief, development and peace in the name of Christ.
The money you raise from lemonade stands, bike-a-thons, and crokinole tournaments will become clean water, emergency food and school supplies for families around the world, and you’ll also invite your friends, family, coworkers and neighbours into the MCC story. Let's get started!
Here's how it works!
Download the do-it-yourself (DIY) fundraising guide to brainstorm ideas and get started.
The guide includes:
- Fundraising ideas
- Links to resources
- Stories of lives impacted by generous passionate people like you
Choose an activity or decide to host an event. Whether you choose to bake or bike, set up a lemonade stand or host an online concert, choosing something you love will motivate you and encourage those around you to support your cause.
Once you've decided on a fundraiser, let us know about it using this online form.
Set up a giving plan
Before you begin to ask for donations, decide whether you'd like to collect donations online, in person, or both.
1) Online: Create a giving registry on our website for a central location to collect donations. Skip the administration work of collecting cash and filling out forms, and easily keep track of your progress towards a fundraising goal.
Create a giving registry here.
2) Offline: Use pledge forms if you'd rather not use a giving registry. When the fundraiser is complete, you'll send them to your province's MCC office.
Start tracking your offline pledges.
3) Some people may prefer to give to your fundraiser in person, so you may want to set up a registry and collect donations offline. Once you submit your donations to MCC, they can still be added to your registry and count towards your goal.
Get the word out!
