Our summer internship program is designed to give young adults firsthand experience within a global non-profit in areas related to relief, development, and peace.

What to expect as a part of our 2019 summer internship cohort:

  • Attend Planting Peace Gathering at Camp Valaqua (mccab.ca/planting-peace).
  • Complete a 14 week paid summer internship.
  • Meet regularly throughout the summer to share experiences, learn from each other, and receive ongoing training.
  • Potentially have the option of joining an international learning tour in August.

Internship positions available at the MCC Alberta Office (see link for full job description):

Program Intern - Refugee Resettlement, Indigenous Neighbours, Peace, and Restorative Justice support.

Environmental Stewardship Intern - Creating a community garden and assessing MCCA's environmental practices.

Thrift Intern (MCCA office) - Working with the Thrift Shop Coordinator developing marketing strategies, managing social media channels while adhering to best practices, and assisting with volunteer training.
