Brandon MCC Thrift Shop

Brandon MCC Thrift Shop was chosen as a volunteer highlight for Volunteer Manitoba's "Changemakers" video series.

In partnership with CTV Winnipeg, Volunteer Manitoba selects three volunteer programs to highlight every year at the Annual Volunteer Awards Dinner. These videos feature community Changemakers - volunteers who saw a need, took initiative, and found a way to fill that need. By volunteering their time, these Changemakers not only helped their community, they also helped themselves.
They, and so many others like them, define what it means to be a volunteer!

The Brandon MCC Thrift Shop has been around since 1973, and is part of a larger network of non-profit thrift shops that support the local and global projects of the Mennonite Central Committee(MCC).

Proudly serving Brandon and the Westman community for 45 years, the Thrift Shop relies on generosity and donations in order to deliver the following benefits: providing a meaningful opportunity to volunteer, improving the lives of local families by offering useful items at affordable prices, and supporting relief and development work in over 65 countries around the world.
