Last year MCC responded to 31 disasters around the world. This year, we have already responded to 26 disasters and we are just over halfway through the year! Our relief kit supply has been depleted as a result of these disasters, and we are in urgent need of donations.

To celebrate the many blessings that we have received over the past year, and to respond to the disasters taking place around the world, MCC Saskatchewan invited individuals, churches and community members to participate in the first ever Buckets of Thanks event.

The goal was to fill 606 buckets in 60 minutes and we are proud to announce that 150 people rallied together to pack 612 kits in 36 minutes! In addition to this outstanding accomplishment, over $7,000 was raised to purchase kit supplies! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our first ever Buckets of Thanks event.

If you were unable to make the event but would like to make a donation or plan your own Buckets of Thanks event please contact Graham MacDonald at or donate online at:
