Once a year, tarps are distributed to displaced families living at Mubimbi and Poste camps in DR Congo.

Once a year, MCC’s partner Église du Christ au Congo – Ministère des Refugiés et des Urgences (Church of Christ in Congo – Ministry of Refugees and Emergencies) distributes tarps to displaced families living at Mubimbi and Poste camps in the town of Minova in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo). The tarps help protect the thatch houses from the rain.

People who live in these camps have fled fighting between armed groups that have pillaged or destroyed their homes and farms in rural or forested areas in the eastern provinces of North and South Kivu.
