Philippines typhoon recovery aims for lasting results August 1, 2014
Pastor Jesusa Garba and other Filipino pastors take a break from their intense sharing about Typhoon Haiyan to play a group game. The pastors were a Trauma Healing and Disaster Risk Reduction training in Ormoc, Leyte Province, sponsored by Peacebuilders Community, Inc., a ministry of Mennonite Church Canada Witness.

When MCC’s help in the Philippines hits home February 24, 2014
MCC is supplying building materials, including plywood and tin sheets similar to those being loaded onto this bicycle-powered rickshaw, to almost 3,000 Filipino families whose homes were destroyed by Typhoon Haiyan. In addition, MCC is paying local people to build the houses in the towns of Naval and Dulag.
