MCC has been present in Palestine and Israel since 1949, and at the UN advocates for peace and justice as a member of the Israel-Palestine Working Group. From Feb. 18 to 28, MCC UN Office Director Chris Rice visited Palestine and Israel for the first time to listen to the context and be with MCC partners to hear their stories of pain and hope, glean their wisdom and discern how to best advocate at the UN regarding a conflict that is becoming more and more difficult.
