Heading back-to-school is exciting for children as they look forward to the year ahead, but some children, adolescents and adults do not have access to the supplies needed for a successful return to school.
MCC Ontario is partnering with the organization, Healing of the Seven Generations, who assist individuals affected by the legacy of Residential Schools, by collecting school supplies which will be used in Healing of the Seven Generations Community Back Pack program.
- 3 ring notebook
- USB stick
- pencil sharpeners
- sticky notes
- ruler (flat, flexible plastic, minimum 30 cm)
- large pencil erasers
- binders (1-1/2 or 2 inch)
- binder dividers
- geometry sets
- locker locks
- pens (packs of 12 are preferred)
- lined paper
- markers (packs of 8 are preferred)
- correction tape
- scissors (blunt edged)
- reusable water bottles
- glue sticks
- mini staplers
- scientific calculator
- back packs (suitable for teens are preferred)
Supplies can be dropped off at our Material Resources warehouse at 50 Kent Avenue, Kitchener, ON, N2G 3R1 by August 18.
