On Jan. 31, a group of 20 South Koreans visited the MCC United Nations Office in New York City to learn about MCC’s engagement in North Korea and for peace on the Korean Peninsula. Connected to the UniKorea Foundation program dedicated to the peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula, the group was mostly graduate students selected for overseas training. As an organization working on both sides of the Korea divide for peaceful engagement (“two countries, one mission”), MCC is grounded in the vision and longing of Korean people for a new future.
