In June of 2018, three officials from the Korean Canadian Cooperation Agency (KCCA), a Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) ambassador to the United Nations in New York, accompanied by MCC staff, visited the area. Their visit focused on agricultural areas of Manitoba, as part of MCC’s work with KCCA in DPRK (also known as North Korea).
