Tying square knots is the very last step to completing a beautiful comforter. The handmade comforter provides not only warmth, but also a tangible message to those facing conflict or disaster that their needs are not forgotten.

MCC Staffer, Kyle Rudge speaks with Sophia Bezoplenko about a special group of women who visited Material Resources.

Sophia Bezoplenko shares a beautiful story about a group of Winnipeg Yazidis refugees who have found healing from trauma through tying comforters with MCC's Material Resources.

Material Resources responds to people who are in the midst of conflict, disaster, or poverty. Collecting and shipping material aid such as school kits, relief kits, infant care kits, comforters, and other materials provides a tangible way to share love and hope with those in need.
